DVD package

This is obviously a work in progress. Just what I have done tonight. 

Our project is to create a poster and DVD box set for a documentary on a Non-Profit organization or campaign. 

I chose to create an awareness campaign about the global issue of sex trafficking and the DVD package will contain real documentaries, one focused on eastern europe and asia and the second focused on America. 

I have a family friend that is a principle and I was able to get a few kids handprints today. I wanted to stick with an earthy tone, with black, white, and red. 

The inside will have many different survivor excerts. The 2 blank parts of the outside package of the DVD at the top will have facts (like numbers and percentages) The front and back has "sex trafficking" in almost every imaginable language to imply it is a global issue. I had that before I did the inside and now am searching for a way to have everything tie together... I am hanging on this concept for dear life.. if anyone has any suggestions, Id be very appreciative.

SO, I went to the digital today and printed out everything that I have so far that is finished. I decided to mount today too... the first 3 prints I totally screwed up.. but after that I got the hang of it... moral: dont wait.. trust me. things always go wrong, especially when they arent anticipated.

one thing that did cheer me up is that homeward bound is on tv right now.. hehe :)

I've been thinking a lot about my specialty item. I am now thinking about doing like a club card that when you eat at Eats you rack up points and you get rewards... I trying to think of a creative approach to it. It would run like a credit card keeping track of all your points and like every so many points you would get a free entree type deal or free topping on your pasta... 

and then also make like a table tent that advertises it.

specialty item

So I have been pondering doing something besides the signage in the restaurant. I feel like maybe I should do something more promotional or I might do this also.. I thought about doing a billboard... since they have 2 on top of the restaurant and pull the style from my ads but do something different.. I do plan on taking their logo off the side of the wall and putting mine there haha :)

I also thought about a small tin mint container, or mini pins.. I dont know I will be brainstorming more tomorrow.. well see.

And yes that is heath in my photos.. haha :)
