Mostly for my class' logo project, the name came directly under the logo. However, I think the experimentation that you have here makes the composition more interesting and unique.
If I had to pick one of the two that you are torn between, I might go with the very top (the first one). The second one is still good; however, when putting it on the board, having the name spelled out that way may take up too much space. Seeing that your name is a bit long for both the first and the last name.
I do want to say that I do like the font to go along with your logo. Which font is it?

The font used to create my logo is gradoo something... its the same font i used fot my calendar. I however do not like it when it comes to spelling out my name. so i tried to choose something simple.
